I expect a lot of things when talking about new releases of games I usually play. My eyes are in to details on how the game is presented, how it differ from the previous version and what are new things that it can offer to the gamer? And here’s what I can say to one of my favorite games.
Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare.
The game adapts into a multi player third-person shooter. The way it is presented is really different though characters are the same and rendered in full 3D. It is very addictive. The visuals are very captivating. There are a lot of twists provided in the game.
One of those that really captured my interest is that zombies are attacking the plants while the plants are protecting or defending multiple gardens. The game also provides plenty of humorous animations and that what makes it more enjoyable. It really has a balanced game play because of the different modes available.
It provides a new taste in character design. Zombies are able to heal other zombies after being hit. Challenges to the plants or the zombies need to be done in order to pass a certain level. Comparing from the original game, it gives a more intense experience to the players. All in all, the game’s new approach is amazing.
With the new game mode, I am able to play together with my friends or family. Playing this game made me laugh and smile. I found it enormously fun. PvZ Garden Warfare is a third-person shooter videogame based on the popular brain-eating franchise by Popcap. This time, our favorite heroes and villains jump into 3D world to fight for supremacy. Even though the game may seem for kids at first sight, it turns out to be a cute, entertaining experience for adults, something like a Pixar movie. You can choose among four classes for each side, peashooter, chomper, cactus and sunflower for the plants and foot soldier, engineer, scientist and all-star for the infamous zombies.
The game features several online game modes such as team vanquish, gardens & graveyards, gnome bomb, Suburbination and vanquish confirmed. Each mode has its own unique way to be played, for instance, you have to plant the gnome bomb in enemies’ bases while you defuse the bombs the enemies try to plant in yours. Moreover, you can choose if you want to play allowing people to use the different variations for each character or join matches with the classic ones, making the game a duel of skill without perks. Zombies: Garden Warfare is one of the greatest surprises of this generation.
No one would have ever expected such a dramatic change, replacing their classic style with a fast paced multiplayer third person shooter. In Garden Warfare, you have to choose between playing as a plant or a zombie. Your choice will define your role within one of the two sides. When playing as a plant, you can choose to play as the Peashooter, the Sunflower, the Cactus (which is my all-time favorite) and the Chomper. If you decide to join the evil forces led by Dr. Zomboss, you will be able to play as the Soldier, the Engineer, the Scientist and the All-Star. Each class can be modified either by gathering stickers that will unlock variations of each character or by changing their main abilities.
Stickers, cosmetic items and new abilities can be obtained by opening booster packs that you can purchase spending the in-game currency you earn after every match. In Garden Ops, you team up with other players against an AI controlled zombie horde.
Team Vanquish is a multiplayer mode in which your team has to reach 50 kills to succeed. Gardens and Graveyards is by far my favorite game mode.
As a plant, you have to hold the line against the undead to prevent your garden from being captured by the Zombie team. As a Zombie you can guess it! In Gnome Bomb your team has to secure a bomb three times to win.
